Job title: Client Director
Type: Full-time, permanent
Location: UK (candidates must be based within 50 miles of one of our offices: Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, London or Edinburgh)
You’ll be accountable for growing a portfolio of strategic client accounts while driving commercial performance across the wider team. This is a player-manager role where you’ll lead from the front, owning major relationships while being accountable for both your own performance and a small team of client partners.
You’ll inherit a portfolio of high-value client accounts with significant headroom for growth. Typically, you’ll manage around 4–5 accounts, each with meaningful commercial opportunity. Your focus will be expanding these relationships, unlocking new opportunities, and driving revenue across your portfolio, with a target of £4 million.
This is a high-expectation role with real ownership and visibility, with a clear path toward owning a practice and full P&L as the business scales.
This is a relationship-led role. You’ll be expected to build trust with clients and internally, working closely with delivery teams to shape and win work. You’ll need to influence and align internal teams to deliver and grow accounts. This is not a transactional or inbound-led sales role.
This role will not suit someone who prefers structured environments with heavy support functions or inbound-driven sales.

Own and grow a portfolio of key client accounts with clear expansion potential
Lead as a player-manager, accountable for your own performance and the wider team
Identify and convert opportunities within existing clients
Own deals end-to-end
Use your network to support account growth where relevant
Work closely with design, engineering and product teams to win work
Influence and align internal teams to deliver and expand accounts
Spend time on client sites, typically 2–3 days per week
