What you'll do

• You will work closely with the engineering team and key business stakeholders to design, build and refine the analytics behind a next-generation energy modelling platform. In practice, you will:
• Develop and maintain statistical and machine learning models to support both manual and AI-powered scenario creation.
• Collaborate with software engineers to productionise your models, including data pipelines, validation, deployment and monitoring.
• Translate complex domain concepts into clear, robust analytical solutions that can be embedded directly into product features.
• Own model quality end to end, carrying out data checks, testing, experimentation and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to analytical best practice through documentation, code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we are looking for

• Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with common data science toolkits
• Understanding of data engineering fundamentals such as pipelines, testing and version control
• Domain expertise in the energy or oil and gas sector, or a strong motivation to learn quickly
• Experience with time series, forecasting or scenario modelling is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
